Song Snippets
Five takes… six… seven?
We finally figured it out: the best way for you to hear what we do — is to hear us do it.
Live. Unfiltered. No safety net.
The Broken Stone Rock Revival hit the whiteboard hard — some songs we knew by heart, some we just loved, a few to stretch the fingers, and the rest? For the folks in the back who just want to feel something again.
No overdubs. No studio magic. Just one rehearsal, one mic, and one shot to show you what this revival sounds like when the amps get hot and the sweat hits the floor.
We showed up — colds, busted arms, jet lag and all — and played it raw.
What you hear is what you get on stage:
No tracks. No tricks. Just real-deal, knock-the-dust-off-the-walls rock ‘n’ roll.
Loud. Honest. Alive.
Example Set
Over the Hills and Far Away (Led Zeppelin)
Some journeys don’t end — they just get louder. This one’s for the wanderers who pray through their pedals.
Wait (White Lion)
He said wait — not because he’s gone, but ‘cause he’s comin’ back louder. This is a holy pause wrapped in electric promise.
Why Can't This Be Love (Van Halen)
You feel it in your chest, but it won’t speak its name. This is the cry of the hopeful, caught between sparks and silence.
If I Ever Lose My Faith in You (Sting)
Faith ain't always found in a book — sometimes it’s buried in basslines. This is the cry of the fallen still reachin’ for the light.
Wicked Game (Chris Isaak)
Sin don’t always come in black — sometimes it whispers in velvet and tastes like heaven on the way down. This one’s a slow burn soaked in temptation.
Walk Away (James Gang)
Even the saints had to walk from trouble, guitars still ringing. This is the sound of freedom in faded denim and worn boots.
Vertigo (U2)
When the spirit hits, the ground ain’t safe. “Vertigo” is a spinning altar call with no exit sign.
One Headlight (The Wallflowers)
Half a light, whole lotta soul. This one drives straight through the fog and never turns back.
New Sensation (INXS)
It ain’t yesterday, it ain’t tomorrow — it’s the boom in your chest right now. This is a resurrection in rhythm.
Message in a Bottle (The Police)
One voice, one bottle, one ocean of noise. This is the long-distance prayer of a soul lookin’ for home.
Love Is on It's Way (Saigon Kick)
You may be lost, but love’s already leavin’ the station. This is the sound of redemption inbound.
Life’s Been Good (Joe Walsh)
Testify, brother Joe — not with shame, but with a smirk. This is the parable of the rockstar who saw it all and laughed.
Life’s Been Good Continued (Joe Walsh)
(You just can't stop, Joe F'ing Walsh...)
Vertigo (U2)
When the spirit hits, the ground ain’t safe. “Vertigo” is a spinning altar call with no exit sign.
Kiss (Prince)
He don’t want much — just your raw, real, stripped-down soul. This is rhythm, swagger, and salvation in one groove.
Hungry Like the Wolf (Duran Duran)
Temptation don’t knock — it hunts. This is desire dressed in teeth.
Heavy – All Your Weight on Me (Collective Soul)
When the burden drops, the sound rises. “Heavy” is the altar call for the overrun.
Everybody Wants You – (Billy Squier)
When the truth hits harder, you play it again. This one’s the encore for the chased-down soul.
Man in the Box (Alice in Chains)
He’s buried alive but singin’ like he’s free. This is the gospel of grit and chains broken by sound.
Sweet Child O’ Mine (Guns N’ Roses)
She walks like a prayer you forgot you said. This one’s a rose with thorns, sung by angels in leather.
Signs (Tesla)
They post rules, we post riffs. This is the gospel of rebellion — hand-painted and amp-powered.
Shine (Collective Soul)
The dark don’t stand a chance when the light finds a groove. This is the call for all the cracked to glow again.
Photograph (Def Leppard)
She’s frozen in time, but the ache keeps playin’. This is a snapshot of what almost was, framed in fire.
Runaway (Bon Jovi)
She ain’t runnin’ from trouble — she’s runnin’ toward her own thunder. This is the hymn of the wild-hearted.
Crazy Little Thing Called Love (Queen)
It ain’t clean. It ain’t quiet. But it sure is holy. This little thing called love has a rebel heart and a swing beat.
Well, that was fun.....
Like what you hear?
Think this kind of no-nonsense, no-track, plug-it-in-and-play-it rock might just raise the roof at your bar or event?
Let us know. We’d love to bring The Broken Stone Rock Revival to your stage — live, loud, and locked in.
We don’t mail it in. We show up, tune up, and turn it loose.
